Privacy & security

How we handle website information.

Cornerstone Ledgers LLC (“Cornerstone Ledgers,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy and uses reasonable safeguards to protect information shared through our website and connected services.

Effective date: July 28, 2026

Information you choose to provide

You may choose to contact Cornerstone Ledgers by telephone, email, a scheduling service, or a website contact form. The information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, organization, and a general description of the services you are interested in. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, schedule a meeting, and determine whether our services may be a good fit.

Business planning tools

Our financial planners and calculators are designed for general education and business planning. Calculations are performed in your browser. Cornerstone Ledgers does not intentionally receive or store the financial figures you type into these tools unless you separately choose to send or share the results with us.

Do not enter confidential account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, tax-identification numbers, banking credentials, or other highly sensitive information into a planning tool or general contact form.

How information may be used

Information you voluntarily provide may be used to answer questions, arrange meetings, prepare a requested service proposal, provide requested services, maintain business records, improve our website, and protect the security and integrity of our operations. We do not sell personal information provided through this website.

Website activity, cookies, and hosting

Our website host and security providers may process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and security events—to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and maintain reliable service. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used when required for website access and security.

We use Google Analytics to understand general website traffic and how visitors use our pages and planning tools. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referring websites, and interactions with website features. We use this information to evaluate and improve the website. Google’s handling of this information is governed by its own privacy policies and data controls.

Spam prevention

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated spam and abuse. Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as network, browser, device, and challenge data, to provide this security service. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Third-party services and links

This website links to services and websites operated by other organizations, including Calendly and the Cornerstone Ledgers blog. When you follow an external link, that provider’s privacy and security practices apply. Cornerstone Ledgers does not control third-party websites.

Data sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, schedule appointments, communicate with you, or provide requested services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or to address suspected fraud, misuse, or security threats. We do not disclose client information to unrelated parties for their independent marketing.

Security safeguards

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small professional-services firm. These may include encrypted website connections, access restrictions, trusted hosting providers, updated software, backups, and limited access to business information. However, no internet transmission, email message, website, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Email and contact-form caution

Email and general website forms should not be used to send highly sensitive financial or identity information. If confidential documents are needed for an engagement, Cornerstone Ledgers will provide instructions for an appropriate secure method.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and adults seeking professional accounting support. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
